Yes the rear door would allow enough room to remove the smoker. Honestly tho I think she's in it for life. I plan on building the double pan when this is up and going so I have a smoker around the house.
I don't have any experience building one of these, but at first glance it seems that the flexing of the trailer will put a lot on just a wood frame. I would have had to put a post in the middle over the axles and an angle to each end to create a bridge to take out all the flex. I'm sure you guys thought of all that, it is just how my simple mind works.
