Seasoned the inside. Cured the paint. And then rolled smoke on some ribs and chicken as a test run. She runs smooth. Seems like a pretty high differential between the top and bottom grates tho.

What is a typical temp difference between upper and lower cooking grates?

How might someone minimize the top to bottom differential? We were running it wide open the whole time.
