lit a fire in the smoker and seasoned the inside with vegetable oil, I used a paint brush to coat the inside and racks. the only thing to finish is the outside with heat paint. thanks for all the help from every one. will post more pictures from the first cook on monday

This is my first attempt at smoking a 5 pound picnic roast. About half way through I put bbq sauce on it and finished cooking. The meat just pulled apart real easy and was juicy. thanks for all the help

I can relate the the modifications part, my wife calls my trailer rig the other woman, because I have spent so much time with it.

I think it is finally done. I used it tonight to make dinner, bbq chicken.

And some words of wisdom.....I "finished" mine about 4 months ago but apparently all that means is I can cook on it. I am still buying steel and customizing it to fit my needs. I made the mistake of saying mine was done and now I need to beg for time to work on it as the wife has other projects lined up for me already.

Made 3 slabs of ribs, and a picnic shoulder roast. The meat on the ribs fell off the bones.
