If it can't be smoked .... try frying it. It that don't work, it's probably best just left alone

Howdy, thanks all. The tank is out of motorhome. It really needed to be a little longer, 4 to 6 in. Longer if I had preference. The racks are 17.75 wide, they have good depth top is 14 deep bottom is 17.50 deep. I have a few of these tanks if someone wants to drive to phoenix lol. Look for old motorhomes or even referigerated semi trailers had them. Rick, it will do more then to hamburger patties though, but I will have to get with you on trailer build specs.

DB you might check your local regulations. They might let you just weld a handle on the top and carry it around. Saves all the licensing of a trailer etc….. :D

Nice job! :D

In the 3rd picture it looks like you've got a couple more in the back ground. Are you planning to crank out a few more?

Several of your images just came through as codes at the beginning of your first post so I may have missed some of the pics jaybird was referring to but if you have several then I might have an idea…..

If you have 3 alike then would one of them used as a firebox be large enough to drive a pair of them sitting on top of that one sort of like a center-feed in the shape of a "V" …. just thinking out loud here ….. you'd need to run it through the pit calc…. :D

That is a great looking hinge design on the CC door. I may have to copy that. Looks like it might work good for a FB door with a sealing lip on the inside that needs to lift just a little as it opens.

i had thought of using these tanks as the fb, the siamese minis sound cool Rick. I was actually thinking of doing two 120 gallon stubbies and having a common firebox. one side for poultry, the other for redmeat. the hinges work really good on here, dom and cold rod, with 3/16 plate, same on fireb ox but it is rod instead of plate.
