For grid would use a grid esplanade 3 mm thick.
Even for the basket of coal would like to use the same grid.
It is the right choice ?

Looks like you're heading done a good road. Nice work so far! That looks like what we call 9 x 3/4" expanded, and that is what most use for the cooking grates. As for the, as you said "basket of coal", the type of cooker makes a difference on that. I'm not sure by the picture what your plans are for an fire box or if the coal is going under the cooking grate. If it is going to be an offset FB then there should be a very strong frame for the basket with the expanded being used the keep the coal in the basket. This is because the fire in that type of cooker will burn hotter than say putting the fire under the cooking grate, where you would need to try to keep the fire at a very low heat level.

Keep up the good work.

The base of the basket of coal would do with round bars from 1/2" and the walls with the grid of the picture .

What is the style of cooker? Or where is the basket going?

Style "reverse flow".
The basket goes into the side fire box.

That is what I thought you might say. That should be ok. Some warping will happen to it but it will work.

Which thickness of the grid would ensure no deformation in the fire box ?

I use 3/4 square bar, it is heavy but doesn't change at all.

I was referring to the thickness of the basket , not the fire box .

I was too, like you said, you're going to to use 1/2" round stock for the bottom of the basket.

In the picture of your CC the hinges share the same pin. If you take that pin out and use a bolt with a locking nut on it, it should free it up some. Since you use three piece hinges, that do the trick.

Tomorrow I put 3 bolts 8.8 , I think they are resistant to wear due to the movement of the door ?

I bought two thermometers for CC , they are threaded 1/2 " NPT . The thread in question is conical or cylindrical ?

Pipe thread is conical or some people call it tapered, NPT means National Pipe Thread.

Yes now use an lock nut without nylon. I use the shortest bolts I can or cut off the extra after placing the nut. And just run the nut down to the hinge don't tighten it at all.
