are these shelf brackets and clips safe to use?

I apologize if I am in the wrong for posting a link on the site.

Within this build/link the guy uses these shelf brackets and clips, Can anyone tell me if its safe to use them?

I had planned to build a bigger stick burner but for now I am leaning towards a UDS for now, and the ability to have long smokes without adding fuel.

I used them to mod an old smoker a while back. I bought the plain steel version of the same thing. The downside to them are the clips. They are difficult to adjust on the fly.

thanks, I figured it be a PITA to adjust them while cooking or with a fire going but if setup before hand thought they might not be so bad to adjust. Also would be extra clips for the ones dropped in the fire basket.

picked up my barrels tonight and plan on burning one out tomorrow.
