new guys first UDS and a ?
Greetings,I want to say how much I appreciate all the knowledge on this site.I have lurked awhile and looked at a few you tube vidios and jumped off into my first UDS this past week.I will post some pictures after I get it painted.Right now I am on my first test run and holding about 250.Now for the silly question.....The barrels I got are open top that had liquid vitamen E in them so they were lined.I used a flap grinder and removed the paint from inside the one i just built.Is it necessary to remove the lining on the next one?Oh and I misplaced one of my black pipe npples for on of the air intakes so i found a galvanized and used it,but I have read where galvanized is a no no.Will this one hurt or do I need to replace it with black pipe?

Replace the nipple. Why take a chance? They're super cheap. Any drum with a liner MUST be removed. If it's un lined, it's recommended to still burn it out. Kind of like it's recommended to pull the shoot when jumping from a plane. A good rule of thumb, when in doubt. Oh, and welcome!!!!
