pickling recipes

Post by MrsSmokerBuilder » August 13th, 2018, 5:03 pm

I have some cucumbers and jalapeños from our first time garden. Does anyone have a good dill flavored pickle recipe and/or jalapeño pickling solution? Thanks!

My mom has a recipe for dill pickles that I enjoyed as a kid. Just called her for it so hopefully she will get it to me in the next couple of days. You know how it is, the recipe is “all the way downstairs!”

I cheat and use Mrs. Wages dill pickle packs. You can get all kinds of different flavors.

Cowboy Candy (candied jalapenos)
Came across this recipe a week or so ago.
Made a 1/2 batch last Saturday.Waiting for them to be done. I think I'll use smaller jars next time.
Here's the link.
