I agree. This thing could be the king in the smoking world. They just need to step up the game on the android app. I have never had any Bluetooth connection issues with anything on my phone before this. I even went as far as doing a complete data reset in my phone and started over like it was brand new. Unfortunately, the reviews in the Google Play Store severely contradict what he told you, Puff. I let it run until 1:30am last night and about 50% of the times that I opened the app, it had to reconnect. I was less than 20' away from it and I could see the Bluetooth light start blinking. When it's solid, it has a good connection. At one point, it said I didn't even have any probes connected. And that's on the new one. I really want this thing to work. I think it will be a great tool for the smoking world.

Here it is in the Google Play Store. Take a minute and read through the reviews. They're interesting.

I read through some of those replies it almost seems as though you are saying " what a terrible day it is today , it's raining " and the reply is "wow it's raining , when the sun comes out it will be better.... Have a nice day"

I'll be setting up both so that will give me the ammunition to debate the problem if I find it the same way.

I can't say that I have that issue. I tested all of my probes with boiling water and at room temp, and they're all consistent with one another.

Frozen spot in the bird?

I discovered that the probes on my ET733 have a sweet spot between 120 and 350. They do not seem to be exactly linear for critical scientific measurement . I've resigned myself to the fact these would be targeted to produce acceptable results at 250-275.

I know that electronics parts are all manufactured for tolerance variables. When measured, the 20% ones are sold as 20%.. As the tests show a few that are really well within spec, those are labeled as high a 1% and sold for a premium price

On the other hand, it just be messed up 8-)

I think it's messed up. That was the temp out of the fridge from overnight brine.....
