Thanks to all for kind words. Rodcrafter I totally agree only close stack damper 1/3 due to it being 8" . Free pipe[emoji5] With everything wide open she drafts like a blast furnace[emoji12]. I was pleased with the ability to control the heat with a little tweaking. I followed the pit calculator for everthing except the stack "Free Pipe" Im excited about ordering plans for the GF. It will take awhile to get funds but, Day dreaming about it cost nothing

Rodcrafter that is pretty accurate![emoji12] Kind of hard to explain to those without "The Bug" why you would come home from "work" and want to go straight to the shop to Work on. Metal when I have been Plumbing / Remodeling allday. What is bizarre is plumbing/ remodeling is my primary income and can be somewhat stressfull. On the other hand Working Metal / Fab is very laid back helps me maintain some semblance of sanity.[emoji39] for anyone on fence about trying a build Go for it it is just steel . With practice an persistence you may find a new hobby/ Addiction [emoji12]. Image

Nice work, that turned into a beautiful smoker. I hope my first build comes out half as nice.
