I was looking at your pit calculator and ran my dimensions on my small smoker and noticed it said it recommended it be 21.5 in. How much difference is it for it being 33 in . My CC is 20x24 my fb is 20x18x15 my throat is square 7x7 and chimney is 4 in round x 33 in high. Here are some pics of what I have.

How did everything else come out? If you built it without the calculator in the first place it is important to know how far off everything is and how it cooks so we can do some troubleshooting with you.

I went by Feldon's calculator but had a problem understanding it. At first it it was way hotter closer to the fb but I put some defussers across below the grate and was able to level out the temperature across the grate. Almost all the way across.

If you would put the dimensions and throat size an stack size and someone will help.

I have a question, it looks like the firebox to cook chamber connects by a duct. Is this correct? Can you get a picture of it?

It looks like the FB is the same elevation as the bottom of the CC. That is different, and almost created an vertical cooker.

Making memories!
