The cook went really well. I'm loving the bigger fire box and the tight air controls. I find that a slight adjustment to one air baffle results in an almost immediate adjustment of the cook chamber temperature

It doesn't take long for the cooker to get up to temp, and it holds the temp well. Takes a bit of fuel to get it going but once going it is steady as hell.

The warmer cabinet is a bit of a let down - only gets to around 150f, and it can vary quiet a bit. Have always had the idea of putting a gas ring burner in it, and using it as a gas oven anyway. Can do cornbread/macncheese etc in it.

Still lots to go on the to do list for the smoker -
-Insulated doors
-rain guard strip over all doors
-new trailer frame
-wood/coal storage box
-storage drawer
-gas hot plate mounted to new trailer

the list will keep growing - hah. but at least i can cook right now in it!
