Wheels for my Mack build?

I am planning on building a Mack, without the warming cabinet to be my home smoker. So this will not be trailer mounted. What wheels do you recommend?

I do plan on loading this onto a trailer to take for competitions as well from time to time.

Some super heavy duty ones. Tractor Supply has some that are all steel and have spring shocks on them. Those are plenty heavy enough.

Bigger diameter works better for everything. I stay away from pneumatic tires as they are hard to maintain over the years and will go flat.

X2 on that. If theyre not rolling regularly they dryrot fast. Nex thang ya know is its time to replace them so they can rot too

Don’t necessarily plan on rolling in grass, but will need it to roll easily. Will the all steel wheels roll easily?

I agree that pneumatic wheels require too much maintenance tho they are great for lawn/dirt. I do like the durability of a solid steel wheel but it has drawbacks as well. I have had issues with some cutting into tile patios (wife. It happy!) and they seem to come to an abrupt stop every time they hit even the smallest debris or imperfection.

My current smoker is fitted with a steel wheel that has a thin band of hard rubber in it. The rubber allows it to roll more easily over small rocks and Debris on the patio and it does not mark the tile, cement pad or my textured shop floor. It has a needle bearing in the hub and has held up nicely for me as they are almost 4 years old at this point. They are 2” wide and 6” diameter and rated for way more than I need for my 1200lb pit.

I’ve used these as well. I like the hard rubber outer edge on my concrete slab. Rolls very smooth. 700# per corner should cover you to 2000#+.
