I was able to do a little more on my 250 build. I finally got started on my firebox and thought I would share a few pics.

I decided to insulate the top only with 2” 1200* insulation. The door is doubled and is 1/2” thick. I went for an Industrial look for the firebox.

Enjoy!

Thanks Fattdaddy

Thanks guys, it is coming along good. I picked up the angle iron for the fire rack grates today and priced some bar grating. Geeze that has gone up a lot, so I may need to figure out another way to build the fire grate.
I know one thing, having the metal sheared makes a world of difference. For what it costs, I will never mess with doing it myself.

Thanks
Fattdaddy

Well with only a little more grinding left to do the fire box will be done.
Here are a few more pictures.

Thanks for looking!
