Hey guys, thought I’d share a new build we kicked
Off. Nice patina 500 gallon with an insulated firebox. Modified ratchet binders sure work nice for fitting doors!

Well, the hole in the cook chamber starts out as a circle below centre line… then you push them together, keep leveling and straightening while trimming away where it touches. You end up with an odd shaped hole. The outter skin is easier. I make a mock-up of the tank as a CAD drawing and cut all the sheets to fit with a cnc plasma cutter.

It’s defiantly a challenge though. Also stressful with current steel prices. Mistakes are costly.
