Oh they do. Work wont let is load angry birds. They say there is to many versions that have viruses that they don't even want us messing with it. I think the phones are more of a carrier then anything else.

Looking good man!!! I like it.

Something I heard a while back was to not weld on top of the two angled pieces of the tongue where they go under the front frame.

Have any of you all heard of that??? They said it was OK to weld the same piece to the bottom of the front frame but not to weld on top of the angled piece.

never heard that, but now that you mention it, it does kinda make sense if ya have a heavy trailer tho. I suppose it could cause a weak spot in the middle of the span of the tongue.

Thats kinda what I was thinking.

I don't think we have to much to worry about on these trailers. Well at least not the one you are working on LOL mine may be a different story tho LMAO....

Catching up!!!!!!

Frank, playing a little catch up this morning. Your cooker project is looking fantastic. :) Are you going to use channel iron cross members or angle iron?

Frank you're building such a nice looking trailer you'll have to trade for a new pickup to pull it...:)

Thanks KAM! I'm using 2"x3"x1/4" angle for the cross members. The main beam is 4" channel and the front and rear is 3" channel. The tongue is also 3" channel.
Thanks EK! I'll haft post a pic of the BBQ truck.

Got tired of tripping over cords, so I put up one of those cord reels!
Got the cross members installed. I didnt put any under the middle of the smoker since I'm going to have some on top. Instead I put one at the very front of the smoker which will let the front edge of the smoker rest on it.
