I've found the basket method is

1) easier to get a repeatable sized fire in

2) easier to clean up after a burn.

3) easier to get air to the fire with

jm2cw :D


And on the eighth day God created barbecue …. because he DOES love us and he wants us to be happy. :D

I was thinking about getting an old fashioned metal milk crate to use for a basket . Weld a little flat stock on the sides and slide it in on angle iron . Not sure how it would hold up of how long
