Horizontal offset/ reverse flow build

Post by Frank_Cox » October 8th, 2011, 4:06 pm

Starting my new project today! I am going to build a horizontal offset slash reverse flow build for us to use at comp's. I will have plans for this build posted on the plans site in the next couple weeks. The cook chamber is going to be 48" long and 30" diameter.
This is going to be great!

Nice looking Lincoln welder sitting there in the background.

I really think the trailer needs an insulated pellet rig.

Had a little trouble lining up the roll of metal with the end cap so I thought I would post a pic of how I adjusted the roll to line up with the end cap.

Got the end cap welded on and the door laid out. I cut the top cut for the door and now I am as far as I can go until I get my hinges made. I'll have my bud Down the road cut them out tomorrow nite then I will install them and cut the rest of the door out. After that I will start working on the rest of the fire box stuff.

Well, since we talked the other night and you told me about the 757 guy, I think I can pass on the forklift. LOL BTW I want one of those really bad......Even thinking about cleaning out the garage.

In that last pic I noticed that maybe you need to armor all the tires LOL
