Firebox Fan

Has anyone added a small fan to push air into the firebox on a sidebox smoker to really maintain the temp?

I haven't done it, but I've heard it doesn't work well because of the delayed algorithm the PID is always behind. I'm setting up my mod on my trailer rig to use this on the FB when only cooking in the cabinet above the FB. You know for over night cooking.

Making memories.

I've built one for my gravity feed ...but exactly as RC said....and that ball valve air flow keeps it so stable I find no need for it. I know, I know ...there's a complete major market for these controls but the smoker is that well controlled....

Make no mistake, there ain't no powder in this Puff ! And... I'm not really a crazy person but I play one in real life
