"For anyone curious the counterweight is comprised of a 2"x2"X1/4" square tube cut 12" long with a 35 degree cut at one end. The top is 4"x4"x3/8" square tube cut at 24" filled with 3 - 23" lengths of 2"X1" solid bar. She means BUSINESS"

Your post and another helped me out with my counterweight.

Glad the info was useful! It really was more guesswork than science. Tacked the tube up so that it "looked good" and just kept filling it til it was easy to open.
