Smoker cart build.

Post by JH1973 » October 4th, 2022, 11:19 pm

Is there a resource that covers how to build a cart with all terrain tires so movement over grass is possible?

Nope....nothing on carts specifically but lots of builds on the site have had similar needs. Just do a little searching on the build threads for ideas. I will mention that these things are heavy so wide tires are needed if you want to roll on grass.

I was looking at golf cart or go cart wheels.Thought they would be wide enough .

I did a build a while back using golf cart tires/wheels for that same reason, I needed to roll over grass etc. Here is a link to the build thread on this site...

Have you read through this thread:
http://smokerbuilder.com/forums/viewtop ... =13&t=8165
it may give you some guidance.

Also Frank has recently release some plans that you can use but you may have to modify your attachment points to fit your smoker.
