My first smoker was a Bradley digital 6 rack. Still use it cause the wife doesn't care for charcoal taste. But I built me a uds a few weeks back and have plans for another one shortly. Gonna post pics up when I get that far...

Thank for the welcome! And I definitely like the uds so far. Brisket, few chickens, couple shoulders through it. A lot better taste than the Bradley, but not as "set it and forget it", but that part of the fun. Have a couple of designs floating around in the hazy brain, just have to put them together on paper. One I think would be original, I think anyway.

since ive made my uds, i havent touched the electric. my wife seems to have gotten used to the charcoal, so thats a step in the right direction for her!
