3 mm is thin for the cook chamber. Ideally you would want it 5-6 mm.

9 mm is great for the firebox.

Hello! I can't make the walls of CC thick. The trailer can only 550 kg. This is our law for private trailers.

Your firebox doesn't need to be 9mm. Many here are 1/2 inch which is in the 6mm range.

I do think you could get by with 3mm cook chamber as long as your baffle plate is in the 5-6 mm range.

Erm mp4.... 1/2 is 12mm not 6mm. 1/4 is 6mm.

But if you already have 3mm cook chamber that's what its going to have to be.

That is awesome. It's a fine looking pit. Love the hinged chimney... :points:
And it looks really cold there. Here in Brisbane we are looking at 38C this week.
