Welding Table

Many have asked for information on the welding table I built so here is the info I have. I found the table on Pinterest and followed the rabbit hole to a forum post over on Garage Journal.

I tend to draw everything up in Sketchup prior to building it. So I will attach my drawings for the table. The top is made from 6" x 30" x .5" steel flat bar. So far it has worked better than expected. My drawings turned out to be a little on the tall side with 8" casters.

You can download my sketchup file here Table Frame
As well as the measurements to drill the holes for the bolts in the top rails Holes

I had the caster plates laser cut to match up to the 2x2 square tube as pictured. If anyone wants to build it, I can give you the info to order a set of plates from the laser cutter.

Thanks for the sketchup file. And congrats on the awesome weld table build. It does look great.

Learning generally boils down to "Repetition or the avoidance of pain", some people learn by doing, some by watching and some just have to pee on the electric fence.

Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right. Henry Ford
