Insulation for mini frame

Bought a kit from our host here, steel is laser cut, going to start the frame but not sure what the correct insulation is to stuff the frame with. Seems like cutting the hard board is not my best choice. What did you use?

You are only filling a void here, maily to stop hot spots in the tube. Bog standard batts will be fine.
