question about mini and making changes

Post by TurboMike » March 27th, 2017, 2:22 pm

I want to build a Gravity Smoker but the Mini is just a bit too small, short really, How much can i ad to the cook chamber just by making it taller without hurting the design? Looking at maybe a foot or so for extra shelfs

Thanks,
Mike

No matter how many times i cut, its still to short!! :-w

You can add an extra 25% to the cook chamber volume without having to change the firebox assembly dimensions. :kewl:

Alternatively you can purchase plans for the size between the mini and the double plan.

You can browse around http://www.smokerplans.net/index.php?ma ... 094c5cfb94
to see if you can get some sizing but I don't think they have the actual size of the unit without purchasing all the plans... not really feasible.
Probably best to contact Frank about the differing sizes...
