I have been offered a neglected stumps. Do you guys think shes worth restoring? Asking price is 500. He says no holes and only needs new seals.

Well by the looks of it's size it's a Stumps Classic which retail for like $4800. You're definitely gonna need to invest some money, and a ton of elbow grease to get it back in good order. But for $500, if you have the knowledge to fix it up, it's totally worth it imo. I mean, even if you had to invest another $500 to get it back to good; you'll have a nice cooker for nearly a 5th of the retail. You could probably easily flip it, and sell it for $3000 if you weren't interested in keeping it.

Yea it is a pretty good deal especially if you know how to restore it (weld & grind). It doesn't even look that bad.

I was thinking the same thing. Hell even it's halfway across the country it'd be worth it to have it shipped to me lol.

If you are in the market for one then yes.

It will take an afternoon of work to scrub it it and resets on it but you will end up with a nice smoker.

Yeah. You couldn't build anything for that much. If you got the extra time I would say jump on it.
