Santa Maria grill help

Post by AndrewPalmer71 » April 30th, 2019, 3:27 pm

Hey guys,
I’m one of those need instructions or a video kinda guys. I want to install a Santa Maria ratchet and pawl apparatus on a grill I’m building. The parts are available on the smoker builder website. Follow the link below.

Prior to purchasing it, Can someone please show me a video or give me step by step instructions on how to install and operate this thing. Many thanks!

I can't help you with that but if you're purchasing it from SBM then you can call Frank and he'll be glad to help you out.

Thanks Big T. Frank gave me an awesome explanation via PM. But I’m the type that had to see it in action before I get it. This would be an awesome how-to video.

I seen your other build. If you can do that then the Santa maria prob won't be any trouble for you. Having the parts will prob make it much easier to understand

A video is not going g to be easy to find. I’m sure there are not too many people who do this at home.

Personally, with the parts in hand, it would be pretty easy to mock up the set-up with scrap to get an idea of how it should sit.
