I told my wife about your first burn time she said he's lazy. He just starts it and walks away, you like to poke yours. hehe I told her that was the goal. She didn't get it. Good job!

Finally totally finished. I tried a few different diverters and this one gave me the most even heat across the grate. Also got the grate done. Doing some polish sausage on it as we speak and then throwing on a kettle of hog apple beans.

Hi Ken,
That looks very nice... One thing I wonder, you mentioned in your early test that you ran it between 260 - 300...

Have you tested any further to see how low you can keep it at ?

Maybe a strange question but, I am currently in the lurking and learning stage, from all you guys in here :-)

Hi Ken,

How I missed this over the last year is beyond me. Great work... What gauge are the inner and outer skins? If it's in there, I must have missed that detail.
