ATA case smoker

As some of you may or may not know I toured as a professional musician for several years before moving back home. I have an ATA case that was custom made for one of my speaker cabinets and it's just sitting in a closet right now. I'll try to get some pictures up after work. It's roughly 22" or so wide and about 36" high. Inside dimensions. It has a removable lid on the front and a small access door on the back for hooking up cables. I've considered making a smoker out of it. It seems to be sealed pretty well with the front door on. I've seen guys use plywood smokers before but never even considered it until now. How do you think it would do? How would you guys go about getting smoke into it? Is it a bad idea?????????? I'm bored and need a new challenge LOL. I know nobody else EVER gets like that. There is nothing that can stop a smoker builder on a mission.

With an a maze n smok generator you could cold smoke if you could insulate it just a little.
