Im having trouble burning the paint off got it really hot then hit the outside with a water hose just a little bit of the paint came off I then tried to scrape it off while it was hot got some more off but there is still quite a bit on the tank could I just sand it down and paint over it with high heat paint or do I need to sand it all off? pics are included.

I'd just sand and paint!
