80 Gallion Hybrid Smoker

Well as I said in in my introduction this site gave me information overload and mass confusion. That being said I did not know if I wanted a Rf or tuning plates so my first test build was this 80 gallon hybrid smoker. I built this smoker in Feb & March 2017. First build. This smoker is a dream as I followed the calculators to the tee. It cooks better than my wife's 1500.00 oven and is worth more. Been offered 3k for this thing. It is 97% scrap from where I work, we fab industrial furnaces. CC temps are 3-4 degrees front to rear side to side setup as reverse flow. Fire box has sacrificial plate top,shadow plate, 3 fb intakes,grate 5" off bottom of fb. CC has 8" tuning plates with single rack 4" off plates. Two 4" stacks. Take a look.
