Great job.... I was actually looking for the tank you had in the very first picture... Finally found it. Nothing like what I originally thought. Love it!
Make no mistake, there ain't no powder in this Puff ! And... I'm not really a crazy person but I play one in real life
Man. It's been awhile since I've been on here. Glad to see everyone and this site thriving. Between trying to stay married after buying a new boat and lots of trailer/smoker work for other people, I finally had some time/resources to put some work in on this baby. Maybe I'll have it finished before my teeth fall out...
Thanks gents. Im a little concerned with the grease-pan/heat baffle over the FB. The heat from the FB will be concentrated in the center of it with the damper opened. I have plenty of space to raise the tracks for it and possibly add a tuning/heat sink plate over the damper. That should absorb & defect some of the heat outward. RC did you do something like that for your rig? Anyone else try something like that lately. Could be I'm just over thinking things again.
Mine has the channel from the GF burner over the opening, then I have the baffle/drip pan 1/4" plate above that. The heat goes up the sides, but there is still radiant heat from the baffle.
Making memories!
Current Smokers: Backyard RF Offset and Hybrid RF Offset trailer rig with Cowboy cooker and fish fryer, always room for more........
Made some more progress. Gaskets, fire basket, and air intake done. She's a functional smoker now. Got some trailer work done. After a shelf, fenders, lights and some rims coming from eBay, all that's left is paint. I may get to paint the smoker tomorrow. Gonna go with a different color for the trailer. In the home stretch now...

Hard to see but smoke stacks are removable. Won't fit in the garage otherwise.
Thanks fellas. Turned out pretty good. Gonna name it "The Mogan". Forgot to paint the door handles gray. Que view soon to come. I'm giddy with anticipation
