This was my "do I remember how to weld" project. I got. Most of the materials from leftover jobsite materials. I think I am in it for about 3-400 dollars. I am still adding to it. Today I built an attachment for a wok, a door for the front, and a shell for the bottom.

Nice build Jross47.
I built a Reverse flow offset using plans from Frank and his team back in 2012, and have done a lot of smoking with it, but was looking for a new project and heard about these grills and want to build one. Where can I find the plans?
Also from the pictures, it looks like you burn the wood/coals on the left, then when they drop through below the grate, you push them to the right under the cooking grate?
Again build looks great.

Huffytt, I didn't use any plans. I started with split fire bricks and measured from there. They are 4 1/2 x 9 I believe. That's how I ordered the steel. I looked at several different manufacturers and took what I liked from theirs and made it my own. I halfway drew some plans on Corel draw, I just have to figure out how to convert a .cdr file. I still have more work to do, like add a front door. A lot of heat comes out the front and makes my belly hot. I recently added a bottom shelf.
