Dad and I use a MIller auto-dimmer.... as seen here using the cutting setting!

I like the Jackson Halo hood with a shade 10 lens for my passive, I like how light weight it is for those long days of welding. I have a Miller 9400 titanium hood for my auto darken... it works great for tig welding at a lower amperage as well, have not had an issue with it flashing me. :-)
