First go at short ribs on the El Cheapo

Found a local meat wholesaler that was doing 2KG of short ribs for £15 ($19 US), so decided to have a crack at them.

My go to rub - 2 parts black pepper, 1 part coarse sea salt and 1/2 part paprika.

Couple of hours in, looking ok.

Six hours in, a couple left I reckon. Sooo hungry!

Love my new toy the wife bought me - I can sit enjoying a nice glass of red inside without running outside every 5 minutes to check on things.

It's really nice to be able to monitor everything from inside when you don't feel like baby sitting the fire. Those ribs look great!
