Sunday night ribs

Post by Frank_Cox » July 24th, 2011, 6:23 pm

I just got home from cooking in Reading, KS. Gotta cook up these ribs, been in the fridge a couple days. My son Joey and I cut these ribs up St. Louis style and I rubbed them down with a sweet and spicy rub and some mustard. I plan to glaze them with some brownsugar saucy kinda stuff about 2 hours or so before they are done.

We got a thunderstorm that rolled in so I put them on the traeger. Couldn't fit them on there so I had to cut them up and use the rib racks

Looks good, I keep wanting to try the mustard thing, But I hate that stuff so I'm scared. Does it leave a mustardy taste?
lol, I've never heard about Stl style ribs, unless it's from somewhere else. Guess their just normal ribs here tho.

Oh also are you the guy with the propane tanks?

Some see the glass as half full, While others see it as half empty.
I just wonder who's been drinking my beer!!!

the Mustard acts as a sticking agent and leaves almost no Mustard taste. it actually becomes almost a glaze mixed with the rub. you should try it :D

St. Louis style LOL

I am the guy with the tanks. I got plenty all the time. :@)

Frank, man. That's just mean taking a picture of a rib that has a bite out of it. That's just mean. I can taste those ribs and feel the tenderness right through the picture. So funny. Cool!

I would hafta say that it's the sauce I use. I like to give a once over coat of blues hog BBQ sauce which is a thick sweet and spicy sauce he calls it tennesee red sauce
