That does look like something I will try. :kewl:

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.

its real easy to make!
i stole the recipe offline and changed it a little so here it is after i changed it

2 1/2 tablespoons butter
4 Granny Smith apples , peeled, cored, and sliced, or 1 can apple pie filling
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
(8-piece) container refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
1 stick of melted butter
Powdered sugar

Filling: Add the butter to a large saute pan and melt. Add the apples, sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until the apples are soft, about 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool.

When the filling is cool, roll the biscuits out on a lightly floured surface so that each biscuit forms a 7 to 8-inch circle. Place 2 to 3 tablespoons of the filling on each biscuit circle. Brush the edges of the circle with water. Fold the circle over the filling to make a half-moon shape. Seal by pressing the edges with a fork.

put on smoker with aluminum foil under the bottom
cook at 275 to 300 for around 15 to 20 min or until golden brown remove from smoker and lightly brush with butter ,let set for 5 min or so and sprinkle with powdered sugar ! ready to serve enjoy everybody

thank you and God bless

Oh no !!! severe chocolate allergy, I wouldnt wanna cause my self any problems.

The only reason that I can eat the EL fudge cookies is because they are a processed chocolate. Glad for that fact, since I love them.

I used to hit the local Arby's every couple days just to get an apple turn over.
Not any more though,,,,, they changed who they buy from other then pepperidge farms and now they suck putty balls.

putty balls as in "I tink I saw a putty tat"? =)) I gotta tell ya, if something is described as sucking putty tat balls ... now that is something seriously messed up :D

:-B probably just my warped world ... but thats funny :ymapplause:

ahhh .... crickets

If it can't be smoked .... try frying it. It that don't work, it's probably best just left alone

Only way to make that thing better is add some glaze! Somewhere down in KY...maybe corydon...there is a bakery that has something similar, they call them fried pies. I can't remember where she gets them but my granny sells them at her stand...they are delish!
