Q-View!

Post by jaybird302 » January 11th, 2014, 9:32 pm

Smoked the biggest brisket I've ever seen today... Thing was massive! Time for the pics! The pan in the first pic is 12"x17". The last pic is the cutting board I made while the meat was cooking. It's brisket sized. 17"x22"

Nice looking brisket. Looks like there's plenty to share. :rulz:

That's much better! Were you looking for a piece this big or was it just sitting there in front of you and just had a vision?

That was all they had at my local grocer... About half that size would have been fine, but hey... Go big or go home right!?!?

The Sams club by me sells the flat for about $4.49lb or the whole brisket for $2.59lb I would rather cut it myself and get the whole thing for the same price.

I might have to consider a Sam's membership if I keep going like this.... I don't know of any good meat markets in my area and my local grocery stores don't have much selection.

Do you feel like it's worth the membership cost?

The Monster: 60 Gal Compressor tank RF Offset Smoker. It's big, it's ugly and it has golf cart tires...

I've had SAMs and Costco, and both places have great meat stock. If you don't see what you want, ask, they'll bring em out by the case.
