First Fatty Attempt

Post by forty_creek » May 30th, 2015, 7:27 pm

Going with a bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese w/ a dash of dinks rub on one. The other boudin stuffing, cream cheese w/ some Cajun rub. Got a late start

My family didn't like the one I made. I used chicken as the interior...the cheesy bacon sounds better!

I saw Gizmo's video on the chicken kind. I'm a lil funny about chicken.
Cream cheese and bacon are two things IMO that go with anything!

Just so you know when Gizmo made that one with chicken it was "used chicken" I mean already cooked. Or at least that is the way I remember it. Tasted great, he had pico de gillo in it and spicy sausage. Both of them were real go, it isn't Gizmo's first time out that's for sure.

Did someone delete my post? I know I responded to 40....

Anyhow I used chicken tenders if I recall, and whilst cooked first, they weren't BBQed if my recollection serves. My wife made them on the cook top for her salads and they needed to be used before they went bad. I didn't use Pico or anything, just some cream cheese.

It was boring. I want to try again with a little more pizzazz.

I don't think anyone deleted your post, I didn't see your response until now. But what has happened to many folks is, after typing an message when you hit the enter key, if you don't pay attention there is a thin message at the top of the page that says something like "someone has posted since you read the last message do you still want to post your message". If you don't acknowledge that by accepting to go ahead and post with another click your post won't be sent.

That makes sense RC. I've posted and realized later it didn't post.

Had to correct my typo.
