First Brisket!

Post by alesmoker » May 18th, 2017, 4:49 am

Decided to try my hand on a brisket over Mother's Day weekend. 12 lbs (after trimming) rubbed with SPGO. Smoked on Oak for 9 hours on the higher end (275-300). Some of the slices weren't as tender as I would have liked but overall I was pleased with the result! ImageImageImageImage

Looks good. Don't cook by time. Cook to 200-205 internal temp. Let rest.

Looks good. In fact, looks good enough to eat :D

Learning generally boils down to "Repetition or the avoidance of pain", some people learn by doing, some by watching and some just have to pee on the electric fence.

Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right. Henry Ford
