My take on ABTs

Post by Pete Mazz » July 14th, 2015, 6:05 am

I made some ABTs over the weekend and thought I'd share.

I use a cream cheese/honey/spice mix and load it into one of those disposable piping bags from Amazon. I find it makes it easier to assemble. After trying the Lil' Smokies, both flavors, I seem to prefer slices of browned beef bologna. Half a slice of thin sliced bacon, more spices and into the freezer. It makes them easier to handle and gives the bacon longer to crisp up w/o the rest going too fast.

Sorry, no pics of the finished product....

Honey? Hmmmmmmmmm..... May I ask how much honey you use per block of cream cheese? Sounds interesting! Wow.
