Breakfast

Post by RevRico » August 12th, 2017, 11:09 am

So maybe noon is a bit late for cooking breakfast, but I just got these put on to the 30 gallon.

Of course, now that it's painted I can see all the gaps and leaks, so this is definitely a trial day.

Anyway, I mixed up some of my pork rub, slathered them up and dropped them on. Hopefully in 6 or 7 I'll have pork. And of the smoker fails, well I bought them on clearance so it doesn't matter.

Ok, I can't figure out how to add an image from my phone. It says it's attached, but not showing up.

coming soon, the new http://revskitchen.com with more fabrication, more racing exploits, and even more cooking.

Old saying, no pics, never happened... :D

I think a fair few of the guys use Tapatalk on their phones. Apparently automagically resizes as well...

Well, since I don't know how to delete the thread, I'll throw up some pics. There they were ready to go in.

At the 100F mark, ready to be rotated.

And the finish..

Far from my best effort, but considering I was swinging from 145-370 the majority of the 7.5 hour cook, I'll say it's acceptable.

Just a lil dry, which is fine in this case. The bowl of chunks and shreds is getting portioned out for chili and tacos, the plate of slices for sandwiches.
