Tri-tip and chicken

Post by towtruck » March 21st, 2021, 5:45 pm

I had to build the wife a planter box today so I decided to cook a little food while I was out.....made a sweet and smoky tri tip and a bunch of bird legs...so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I seared the tri tip then shoved it off to the side and cooked the chicken. I turn the pieces over every five minutes then close the lid again. The bird and beef got done at the same time!

A few of the legs went missing before I got the picture...not sure where they went as I was cleaning the BBQ sauce out of my mustache when they disappeared.

Nice cook....I've got a half dozen whole chickens waiting to go on the pit this morning myself.
