Anybody care to guess where my dirtytires rolled today? I’ll give you a hint.....

That’s right....I stopped by to see Lou Ann! Well, technically my goal was to see Frank but unfortunately out schedules just didn’t match up so I was only half successful. Frank was gracious to take a few minutes out of his busy work day and we did get to talk a but but we weren’t able to hook up.

I was super excited to be able to stop by the shop however and wanted to share my little adventure.

Not sure on Tom....shop was locked up. Frank had a big deadline on a job and was out of the shop. Nobody was there so I started a phone-tag with Frank that lasted close to an hour before we got each other. And don’t tell anybody, but I jumped the fence and broke in the back door and now have all the new secret unreleased smoker plans. All I can say is awesome stuff on the way!

I knew it was a long shot but we were on a road trip with our 5th wheel from AZ to PA when I realized that we were, literally, driving right past his shop. No way I could pass that up so we pulled off the interstate for a quick stop. We had a deadline to get to St Louis so had a small window to start with. On the bright side, to give it a chance we stopped at the fireworks tent close by and spent way too much money on super fun explosive things that I can’t get in the Wild West. I can open carry a handgun but a bottle rocket is illegal....lol.

Return plans are not finalized but we might head back home that way. Stay tuned, I might meet the crew yet!

This morning my wife informed me that We should return home thru Iowa....afraid that puts Headquarters off the itinerary. I'm holding out hope as not yet finalized but her family in Iowa is most likely going to win out.

I figured you were around somewhere but had no way to contact you. Would have been real nice to meet the entire crew but it just wasn’t meant to be....and that is understandable. Marked it as a “go-to” on the truck gps so who knows....
