Four 1st builds

Post by mp4 » November 22nd, 2018, 7:25 am

In the spirit of sharing our 1st builds, I figured I would share my firsts (if it's ok to have more than one first).

Here's my 1st 1st, which is my first smoker and my 1st reverse flow. I added some Q view for good measure. ImageImageImageImageImage

My 2nd 1st is my 1st gravity feed that we named Cam. Its probably the most used smoker in my fleet because of how great it cooks with minimal effort. ImageImage

My 3rd 1st is the 1st smoker I built for someone else, my brother-in-law. (You can all see my addiction growing here). I think when it was all said and done I donated half the funds for the materials and 90% of the labor. I had so much fun and am super stoked about how well it turned out I would do it again and wouldn't change a thing. He did a fantastic job painting it and named it Puff. ImageImage

My fourth 1st is my 1st UDS named Rusty. I'm still not 100% done with it but it we will be firing it up for the 4th time to smoke some Thanksgiving venison roast. Truth be told, I think I've smoked Pork Shots on it every time I've fired it up...I don't remember who 1st posted them, but man am I thankful he did. They've been a crowd favorite for sure...ImageImage

It definitely turns in to an addiction doesn't it. I believe it was Safety Harbor Redneck that posted the pork shots.

All great builds. I know I prob read it in your build thread, but how long did you cut the leg extensions on your mini? I was gonna do 5" but wasn't sure if that was gonna be enough for much of a shelf
