Big Pappa Bills Beast firing question

Heat wise...Is this smoker better fired by charcoal or wood? Or is it pretty much a matter of preference?

You're gonna need charcoal by the truckload to run that monster.

I live on Hogaboom Road.

Lol it's kinda what I figured. I am using a 1000 gallon and making a 2 chamber. 1 side standard grill and the back side a big Pappa reverse flow. The tank itself is 3/8 steel so should hold heat
