Nice job Pennywise. I'd gladly trade some of the rubbery hot dogs I had for dinner. They look great on the grill but taste like ....you know

Dink, your rub was a hit for my crowd. Turned into an even bigger party than I expected. Someone said it was the cook's birthday, not sure....

And of course I forgot to take pics. :oopssign:

Would you trade for pure maple syrup?

I like to barter - especially for unique things. I've traded for bull calves locally, BBQ sauce from Illinois and Kansas, goose sausage, home made jelly, honey, venison bacon, home made jewelry....rubs and seasonings would go good on the list. :-) I'll send you a quart and you send me what you think it's worth in return...sound like a plan?

Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know that work is starting to get rather busy again, if anyone is in need of some more rubs let me know and I will get them out now while I still have time to get orders out on a normal schedule.

RC wants 10lbs of each! LOL
Send him a pound of each and the rest to me! ;))))
I'm good on your rub. I've only used it once. It was one of my worst cooks in many, many years. So I didn't get a true sample of the rub. It smells AWESOME!

Dink's Rubs

Post by forty_creek » November 11th, 2015, 11:07 am

Dink- I to made my first batch of chili of the year with your chili powder. Really good. I hit it with a lil black pepper and a lil Tony's Bold. I can't help myself they are my go to's. I don't know if it was the Bold and/or your chili powder but it had a nice kick!!! I'm known to have a lil more heat in my food than normal. My wife and mom say I have a high tolerance to it. What's perfect to me is a little too much for some. Thanks!

This is where I have to disagree, that lingering fire in my mouth kills me and destroys the flavors of anything else I might eat. NOT A HEAT GUY

As for the Dinks rubs, I bought 5 lbs several months back... They are so tasty, I started sprinkling some on salad, steaks and cheese!
