the perfect holiday season (s)

Post by rlmax02 » December 27th, 2011, 9:04 am

Hope everyone has enjoyed the holiday season as much as I have. I havent been spending as much time on the forums as I would like but I have been doing all the manly man stuff recently. Want to share a few things with you guys so here we go.

Its been just a perfect holiday week starting with some time in the woods hunting the elusive white tail.

Image
this one messed up and got withing 450yds of me

the next day it was time to try and land some of the monster winter rockfish calling the cheasapeake bay their home.

Image
this one weighed in at 25lbs and thought plastic tasted as good as the real thing.

Image
looks alot different in a pan dont it! well half of it anyway...

I offered up a turkey bird for christmas dinner as well..

Image
stuffed with apples, celery, and onions and rubbed well.

Image
smoker holding steady at about 250. used the warmer box as the cook chamber.

Image
after about 4hrs on the smoker with applewood burning nicely.

man its been a great holiday.

happy new year everyone :ymparty:

Heck ya man, x2 on what frank said.

And after review of that first pic, I see that you bagged one of the rare green eyed white tails.
