I used a calculator I found online for all of the dimensions. Today I welded up the firebox to the smoke chamber. Also had to fit the door. Damn warpage, took some time, but now it fits real nice!

Thanks first off, it is a personal build headed for the patio. It will be put on a rolling carriage. Pics will follow if I don't get lazy. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I can get it fired up and start seasoning. I only work on it on the weekends, my time during the week is wholly taken up. Slow and steady!

your build shows one of the benifits of building with a pipe rather than a gas tank, you can leave the end off while fitting racks and BF and access from a different angle!
very nice build gus! :kewl:

Nice looking build you got going there. I like it.

For a second, I thought you were making the racks slide out the end of the tank. I thought it was gonna be really different.

Nice work.

Looking good Gus! Cant wait to see smoke rolling out!

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.
